Third megagrot is well underway. It would be finished by now, except I had a damned good attempt at splitting my finger right down the middle with a scalpel whilst cutting the legs, and that's buggered my productivity. Don't have the dexterity at the moment to do the klaw!

Much happier with the stance on this one, the klaw will be hanging down to his side as he concentrates on blasting away with his gun. The back is also different, no bike engines here. This one has a funky little reactor, cunningly disguised as an SM missile launcher

Second meganob

Aha, fooled you. That's two done in two days. Just when you thought the project would lay dormant for months, right?

Second one is similar to the first. Legs are a little sturdier, though possibly too tall so the third will be shorter. I think the back needs more gubbinz on this one, so I'll add them later.

I'm really happy with the shoota-skorcha. Dead simple but I thik it looks good. The powerklaw I'm really chuffed with. Looks worky enough, but still grot like and almost friendly. Kind of like the second ed dreadnought. Gizza hug.. erk.

Project Overview

I needed some mega-armoured nobz to go with my warboss. The problem was I made my warboss from a standard suit of mega-armour, and I didn’t want the other nobz to be the same size. So rather than recreate them on a smaller scale, I thought I’d go more for a tinboy type approach.

Nob 1

So I've pretty much finished the first one. I'm still not sure if I like it or not! It looks a lot better now it's got arms though.

I approached this in a true grot mek fashion. I had a plan "make something stompy", and just grabbed bits. Sometimes those projects work (like the deffkopta), sometimes they go awry (like the dozens on my desk that never made the site). Not sure where this one lies yet. I think I like it. Perhaps. Certainly looks stompy.
